The Retractor System is a critical piece for shaping the helical rim and scapha. The mini, medium and large Retractors are designed to fit and correct practically any helical-rim deformity. They may be shaped to the desired curvature of the ear. Special attention must be paid to the exact placement of the Retractor over the superior aspect of the ear. The Retractor must not be placed so that it overlies the posterior conformer so as to avoid pressure abrasions.
